Scotty

Poor Scotty was found in December 2021 with a dreadful injury to his eye, it was very infected.  He was also thin and covered with with fleas and ticks.

He was brought to us and we began the process of patching him up and making him better.  The fleas and ticks were easy to fix and after the usual medication and bath, he was looking better in that regard.  However, his eye was a bit more tricky.  We cleaned it up as best we could and on the advice of our vet we began a strong course of antibiotics.  After a week of the medication he was able to see the vet and surgery was scheduled.  It was not possible to save the eye, but all infection was cleared up and he has recovered very quickly from his surgery.

Scotty is now pain free; a happy, healthy boy.  He has made good friends with Penny, and they live together.  He walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs.

Scotty is approximately 25lbs
