Jeff

Jeff was brought to our attention as a stray dog in the neighbourhood that had invited himself to regular bible studies! However, not all of the other attendees appreciated his presence and wanted him gone. He’s been with us since September 2024.

Jeff is great with people, he is lively so younger children might not be ideal, although he’s lightweight, he could knock over a small child by accident.
With regard to other dogs, he’s very particular. We have found in our environment that he gets along with Alyssa, and he has lived with her for some time. He needs some work on his excitement level when meeting new dogs and he can react to their resistance to his impolite advances.
Jeff would do best as an only dog with a family who can give him the exercise he needs to stay calm; sadly, we are not able to do that, and we’d love for him to be out of a shelter environment asap. He walks well on a lead, and would learn to go running, or other activities.

Jeff has been adopted in Canada!
