Helen is the most adorable little girl. We rescued her from animal control (The Pound) with her 3 tiny, new born babies. She was a wonderful mother and her babies thrived. Her pups are now fostered independently and Helen is enjoying the single life in her new foster family. She is such a happy girl. She gets along great with the other dogs and cats. In her previous life she must have endured some rough handling, as she will sometimes wince when you go to pick her up, she thinks she is going to be handled harshly – but she is bit by bit forgetting that. She has a slight tendency to think she’s in trouble when she’s not. Helen is a playful loving girl, she very much enjoys her toys. She’s not destructive, but she chews on her toys. She has a good appetite and eats any kind of food, not a fussy eater! She walks nicely on a lead and travels happily in the car. She adores cuddles and rolls over and can almost sit up on her bottom and beg quite naturally. Helen has lots of love to give. She enjoys being around the other dogs, but would be ok as an only pet with a loving human family.
