Desiree

Desiree and her sister Amanda were rescued by our Director Karen – she received a call from someone who witnessed them being dumped at the side of the road. So, off Karen went, and sure enough, there they were. They came easily to her, were happy to get picked up and cuddled and carted off to the car. Back they came to Ocean Acres. They are very sweet girls, ready for a home of their own, nothing the matter with them at all. They can be a little bit shy at first but can be picked up and petted, they’ll quickly get over it once they have an opportunity for some steady socialization and cuddles. They will grow to be small dogs.
*** UPDATE *** Desiree and her sister were adopted and left for Canada on September 2nd 2022 – we’re so happy for them to be counted among the many success stores in the Great North with our amazing rescue partners!
