Cobalt

Cobalt was rescued from near death.  He was starving; kept tied up by someone who only fed him every other week.

Since he has come to Ocean Acres he has regained his health and strength and is a big handsome boy.  He has had some training and responds really well.  He walks on a leash and is not directly reactive to dogs he passes by.  He is, however, very reactive to cats and cannot be trusted around them.  Cobalt is very happy to see people, he is friendly, enjoys being petted, and will take food from your hand really gently.

He has made no effort to jump out of his pen, as some bigger dogs do.  He would need a well fenced, secure home, with no other pets; and, humans who would take the time to continue his training.  He would be happy to live inside or outside, and if inside would need help learning some indoor, house etiquette, as he has always lived outside.
