The Jack Sisters
- Date Adopted: May 29, 2021
Meet the Jack Sisters: Jackie (tri-coloured, bottom picture) and Elsie (white-brown, top picture). Two adorable Jack Russell Terrier sisters, the best of friends, an inseparable duo to be adopted as a pair. They’ve spent their lives with an Expat family who’ve recently left the island, since then they’ve been temporarily fostered and awaiting space are due to be moved to the sanctuary on the 16th April 2021.
JRT’s by nature are high-energy, super-smart and inquisitive. These two enjoy running and playing, especially ball. Their new home must facilitate their needs, with ample attention, exercise and a fully enclosed safe and secure garden. The foster home has a cat and we’re told they ignore her.
In Barbados with the lack of available homes, it’s challenging to adopt two dogs to one household, especially now during the Covid Pandemic. We’re hoping they’ll be sponsored on The Freedom Flight to Canada to ensure they remain together.
Fun-loving, friendly, affectionate and they adore kids, they’ll make a perfect addition to the family.
The Jack Sisters are Barbados Ruffugees being fostered in Canada and awaiting a forever home. Check back soon for further updates.
