More About Emma

This sweet mother Emma and her 3 tiny pups (Sandra, Elle and Ruth), along with her sister (Holly), were dumped from a car boot in heavy rains. Fortunately someone saw this happening and called us.  Holly was easy to catch, but Emma was much more suspicious and elusive.  It took over a hour to catch her, tempting her with tasty snacks.  The pups were really tiny and didn’t venture far away from mum,  Eventually everyone was safe and secure.

They were all horribly infested with fleas and ticks, their ears were  full.   As we always do, we cleaned them up, medicated them and loved them.  Little Emma was a good mum and set about nursing her babies.  She very soon became more confident and trusting.  She is still a little on the shy side, but we feel sure that given a loving home environment, she would soon change.  She is happy and playful and gets along well with other dogs.  Her tail wags and her eyes sparkle with excitement.  She’s a beautiful brindle colour, and very easy to fall in love with.

All of her pups have made it Canada with Travel Buddies, and Holly has also been adopted.  Just Emma remains waiting for her forever home.

Emma is approximately 15-20 lbs.
