More About Bronze

Bronze was one of those dogs who was bred to fight, wouldn’t fight and then dumped. He’s not too sure what to think of you at first but once he sees you’re ok, he’s quick to warm up to you. He came to us only knowing life tied on a short rope, so he walked in circles for the longest time (he actually walked in circles so much, he wore a large circle of grass out in his kennel!). He is slowly coming out of walking circles and has learned to walk on a leash. Because of his fighting history and visible anxiety, we have not tried him with other dogs. Our primary focus with Bronze has been working on his anxiety and giving him a better life, where the people around him love him. He has learned that when he hears the other dogs barking, he must also, just so they know he’s there. He is not an avid barker and does not bark just for the sake of hearing his own voice.

Bronze would be suited in a home environment where he is the only dog. He needs to learn people are not all bad and needs to be doted on hand over paw. We feel this boy deserves the life of luxury, with a lovely big yard to roam and play in. He has recently learned what it means to play and he loves it!
